In 1854 a Cholera Epidemic struck London. This was the first time the
medical community was able to trace the outbreak of an epidemic to one particular source (in this case a public
water pump). By the end of it around 500 people had died.
The House of Commons asked for a report about the various methods that had been used in
treating the epidemic. When the report was issued, the homeopathic
figures were not included. The House of Lords asked for an explanation,
and it was admitted that if the homeopathic figures were to be included
in the report, it would “skew the results.” The suppressed report
revealed that under allopathic care the mortality was 59.2% while under
homeopathic care the mortality was only 9%!
here’s the wikipedia entry (characteristically omitting to mention homeopathy’s involvement!)

When untreated typhoid fever usually lasts for three weeks to a month. Death occurs in between 10 and 30 of untreated cases.Cholera Epidemic 183180 80 70 60 50 40 30 20 10 0 Homeopathic Treatment Allopathic Treatment Imperial Council of Russia Allopathic Treatment Oslers Practice of Medicine Homeopathic Treatment Allopathic Treatment Imperial Council of Russia40 9 Allopathic Treatment Oslers Practice of MedicineMortality Rate in Cholera Epidemic 1831Dr Quin reported that the death in 10 homeopathic hospitals were 9 Deaths under homeopathic treatment in Russia were 10 Admiral Mordoinow Deaths under homeopathic care in Bavaria Dr Roth reported 7 Cholera Epidemic 1831 AustriaCholera 1831 Austria66 70 60 50 40 30 20 10 0 Homeopathy Allopathy33 Homeopathy AllopathyThese figures were reported by Dr Wild an allopathic physician in the Dublin Quarterly Journal and on account of this extraordinary result the law interdicting the practice of homeopathy in Austria was repealed Cholera Epidemic 1854 London59 60.00 50.00 40.00 Homoepathy 30.00 20.00 10.00 0.00 Homoepathy Allopathy Allopathy9.00 Historically important epidemic it was the first time a disease outbreak was traced to a particular source in this case a public water pump.
